Weekly WordPress News and Updates: Woo! The new name of WooCommerce
WooCommerce, the popular open source e-commerce platform for WordPress, has announced a major rebranding to Woo. The new name reflects the company’s playful and customer-centric approach, as well as its simplified naming system for its products and services. Woo also migrated its website from WooCommerce.com to woo.com, a shorter and more memorable domain. Woo’s core product, WooCommerce, remains the same and continues to power more than 4.4 million online stores worldwide.
Happy WordPressing 🚀
