Last year I created “A Better Planet” which aimed to be a fresher and more relevant version of the Planet WordPress feed which seems to be a closed system and is rarely if ever updated. My idea was to hold monthly votes to see which new sources should be added but I just didnt get enough submissions to justify this and to prevent this feed from becoming irrelvant also, I have decided that I will take over curation of it – I’m pretty much bang up to date on any new WordPress sites due to covering the news each week in our roundup post.
Submissions are still welcome and encouraged via our contact form, so get in touch if you would like to submit your site for consideration.
In the meantime, I updated the sources today as follows :
Removed
- WPCandy
- WP Daily
Added
Get the Feed
You can access the feed in 3 ways: by adding the plugin to your site it will add a dashboard widget so the news is there for you each time you login to WordPress, you can grab the master feed directly or you can follow on twitter.
