It’s the flagship WordPress event in the Western Hemisphere, bringing together people from across the world for the 3-day event, with sessions and workshops, birds of a feather meetups, and much more!

From Washington, DC there are few means of public transit for reaching National Harbor. Reaching the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, is a breeze with several options if you don’t have a car.

The DC Metro is the primary mode of commuting, through the subway from the Metro Center station to King St-Old Town, followed by the bus from King St-Old Town Station + Bus Bay J to St George Blvd + Waterfront St Nh2. This should get you right outside the WordCamp venue!

Another inexpensive option is to take the line 32 bus from Pennsylvania Ave Nw + 13Th St Nw to Southern Ave Station + Bus Bay A 32. Then, hop on to the line 35 bus from Southern Avenue Metrorail Station at Bus Bay L to Stars Entrance Gaylord Hotel at National Harbor Blvd 35. And you’re there!

Another route, is to take the green line metro train to Southern Ave Metrorail Station and transfer to the NH1 bus line. From here, the NH1 bus line pass through the Rivertowne Commons Shopping Center, Oxon Hill Park & Ride/Tanger Outlets, MGM National Harbor, and Downtown National Harbor.

You can even use your SmartTrip card to ride both the metro train and bus, if you have one! When using your card, your fare will be reduced upon entering the bus from the metro train! A taxi would be the fastest and personalized mode of transport, but would be an expensive means too!
