Weekly WordPress News: WordPress.com Introduces Major Pricing Changes
Hey, WordPress friends!
We are checking in with your latest dose of weekly WordPress news.
This week, WordPress.com introduced WordPress Pro, a single $15/month plan to replace all of its paid plans. The new pricing structure initially reduced the storage and imposed a traffic ceiling on the free plan. Automattic eventually increased the storage and traffic limits after receiving negative feedback from community members. WPTavern discusses the price change in their post.
Beyond that, WordPress 5.9.3 is now available. This is a maintenance release that includes 9 bug fixes in Core and 10 bug fixes in the block editor.
We also have a lot of other news, tutorials and resources for you as usual.
