Weekly WordPress News: WordPress 5.9 Beta 1 Release

Hey, WordPress fans.

We are checking in with your latest dose of weekly WordPress news.

We hope you were able to grab some of the WordPress Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. There are a few deals straggling on, but most of the best deals are gone until this time next year.

This week, WordPress 5.9 Beta 1 is released and ready for testing. Contributors prepared a detailed guide that includes testing instructions for all the major features.

Meanwhile, GoDaddy’s managed WordPress hosting data breach has widened to its reseller subsidiaries.

Beyond that, Freemius will launch a video series called The Gamechangers on December 8. It will feature video discussions with some of the leading ‘makers and shakers’ responsible for the biggest WP mergers and acquisitions.
