Weekly WordPress News: WordPress 4.8.2 Security Release
WordPress 4.8.2 dropped a few days ago. It fixes a variety of security issues, so it’s important that you quickly update. If your site has automatic updates turned on, you should already have the latest version at this point. If not, update soon now that these vulnerabilities are public.
Scott Bolinger also has a nice article at Torque about why you should sell your own products, rather than going through a marketplace.
And Matt Mullenweg announced that WordPress will no longer use React as a result of the Facebook patent issue.
