Weekly WordPress News: WordCamp Europe 2020 Canceled
In the biggest news this week, WordCamp Europe 2020 in Porto has officially been canceled. The organizers used the term “postponed” because it will be in the same place…but not until June 2021. Your ticket will automatically be refunded, and most airlines and hotels are being flexible so you can hopefully reach out to them as well.
In other news, WooCommerce 4.0 is out and it brings the new admin interface with it (this was previously available as a separate plugin).
WP Rocket 3.5 came out with an interesting feature: RocketCDN. I’m thinking about switching from Cloudflare. Are you already using RocketCDN? Would love to hear your experience.
Also, Divi has a birthday Sale – check out their 20% Off Sale here.
Let’s get to all of this week’s news…

Let’s postpone the events.
In Vietnam. We are trying to cancel every event and avoid crowding.
We are doing very well. So should WordCamps.
Thanks David, that’s indeed the best thing to do now.
It is very sad news that it has been cancelled.
Well, it’s understandable. At this time, holding an event seems not a good idea at all. Even Trump said gatherings should limit to 10 people.
