Auto-sizes for Lazy-loaded Images: This plugin uses a new HTML attribute sizes=”auto” to optimize the loading of images that are not visible on the initial viewport. It reduces the bandwidth and improves the speed of lazy-loaded images.

Speculation Rules: This plugin uses a new technology called speculation rules to pre-render linked URLs before a user clicks on them. It reduces the latency and improves the responsiveness of webpages.

These plugins are developed by the WordPress Core Performance Team, which is responsible for coordinating and implementing performance improvements for WordPress core. The plugins are available for free and can be downloaded from the WordPress plugin directory.
