Weekly WordPress News: Newfold Digital Acquires YITH

The acquisition train continues. This week, Newfold Digital has acquired YITH, one of the largest independent sellers and developers of WooCommerce plugins and themes for WordPress. Meanwhile, DigitalOcean has acquired popular web development learning site CSS-Tricks.

Beyond that, WordPress 5.9.2 is now available for download. Since this is a security and maintenance release, we recommend you update your sites as soon as you can.

Gutenberg 12.8 also dropped recently with new APIs, iterative user experience enhancements, and bug fixes.
