I’m pleased to announce that, after many months of work, my new theme shop ThemeFurnace is now live! I have been working on building this site and the launch themes since late last year so it’s amazing to finally reveal it to the public …

There are 4 themes available at the moment at a cost of $49, I also offer a developer club membership which is $99 per year and includes all the launch themes + every theme added over the next 12 months. That is guaranteed to be a minimum of one a month, although Im aiming to add more than this.

Theme Options Panel

I have built our theme options panel on top of the brilliant UpThemes Framework – I havent gone crazy with features, just a few essentials to help people control the look of their site without touching code.

The panel typically includes:

  • Text or Image Logo with Image Uploader
  • Custom Intro text / Footer Text
  • Footer Scripts for things like Google Analytics
  • Slider controls – Enable / Disable, Multiple effects etc
  • Social Media – Enter your accounts and the theme retrieves followers counts
  • Typography – Using Google Webfonts, control the fonts and sizing
  • Import / Export – Save your option panel settings to use on another site

Nivo Slider

I have licensed the best slider – Nivo Slider and built it into our themes, you can use it to display any category from the blog or from your portfolio.

Features include :

  • 16 unique transition effects
  • Simple clean & valid markup
  • Loads of settings to tweak
  • Built in directional and control navigation
  • Keyboard Navigation

Head over to the site to see what else is included with the themes.

I hope you like the new site – after working on something for so long its quite nerve racking to finally release it! Please leave any comments or questions in the comments and I’ll get back to you.
