These graphics present complex information quickly and clearly, such as in signs, maps, journalism, technical writing, and education. With an information graphic, computer scientists, mathematicians, and statisticians develop and communicate concepts using a single symbol to process information.

That’s pretty awesome!! This is the first I’m hearing about these kinda things too, but they’re so well done and eye pleasing :) I love it!
Great article !
I had this moment where I had to decide between Joomla, WordPress or Drupal. Glad I went with WP, seriously. I cannot stand Joomla and how hard it is to make one change. I design sites, slice them to HTML/CSS and then I customize or create a brand new theme for WordPress. Whilst the learning curve of WP is high, I think it’s way nicer and there is a better community of top quality sites, than with Joomla, which to me is template heaven.
I am not saying templates are bad, but I make money designing websites, not grabbing templates, makign a few changes and charging.
Really useful collection of sites for us designers, I really should move over to WP :|
