Welcome to our weekly news roundup. Looks like Envato have finally seen sense and are going to allow their authors to release themes under a full GPL license after the results of a recent poll of their authors. That can only be good news and will help keep our community more united – well done Envato. This follows another theme marketplace; Creative Market also adopting a full GPL – I’ve just signed up there as an author so will be releasing some themes on there soon.

This is our (sort of ) weekly WordPress news roundup post, you can view previous news roundups on this tag. I also post frequent WordPress links on Twitter all week, follow WPLIft here if you are on Twitter. Our facebook page is growing nicely with over 2300 members now so please “Like” us on Facebook. Finally, I’m also on Pinterest so you can add me there as well.
