I recently became involved in a new venture which involves an eBay shop and have been having a think about building a website for the new business. Of course I want to build the site using WordPress but its not quite ready to become it’s own eCommerce store yet so most sales will be handled on eBay. This set me on the search for plugins that I could use to integrate an eBay shop into a WordPress site – that’s what we will be looking at today.
The good thing about some of these plugins is that you dont even have to use in conjunction with your own eBay sellers account – you can use them with the eBay affiliate program and earn money for referring new members to eBay. So for example you could create a store on your site which matches your site’s niche and get paid if someone places a bid, signs up or carries out other actions via your referral links. I used to collect consoles Mega CD, Neo Geo, Neo Geo Pocket, Wonderswan etc to name but a few had to get rid of them all though :-(
