Things have been a bit quiet on WPLift over the last month, the reason is I have been working hard on finishing off a new premium WordPress plugin called WPTurbo. It’s actually been in development since last year – I have been working hard to get the website ready for launch and am pleased to announce it’s now live and ready to purchase. In this post I’m going to give a brief overview of the plugin and what it does, in future I will do some more detailed case study posts.
Overview
WPTurbo is essentially, what could be called an “AutoBlogging” plugin. The plugin has a number (over 20 and counting) of modules which can pull content from various APIs such as Amazon, eBay, IMDB, iTunes, HeyZap, see the full list here. It will then post the content on to your WordPress – powered blog as normal posts, when you specify – from every hour to every day etc. You can also pull content from RSS Feeds (make sure you have permission to use the feed, I do not condone stealing content).
How the content is displayed can be completely customized via the use of templates, you can also mix several modules together. For example you could create a movie listings website and use data from the IMDB module and add a trailer from youtube and then an Amazon link to purchase the film online.
A number of the modules included allow you to add your affiliate account details so you can earn money for referred purchases, you can currently earn from the Amazon Associates affiliate program, eBay, HeyZap, LinkShare, iCodes and of course using regular advertising on the sites you create.
- The cost of WPTurbo is $149

Demos
There are a number of demo sites setup to show what can be done with the plugin, I also plan to showcase customer’s websites in future.
Flash Games Site
This demo use the HeyZap flash games module, the game screenshots are pulled in and used as the post thumbnails and the flash games are embedded in the page. It is monetized via the HeyZap program which pays you when people make in-game purchases.
Question and Answers Community
This module pulls questions from Yahoo Answers using their API and posts them on your site, any replies are also posted so its a good way to populate a Question and Answer site from the start.
Events Listing Site
Using this module you can pull all sorts of event listings from the Eventful site based on category and search term – a good way to populate your own listings site or as an add-on to an existing community.
Amazon Affiliate Site
Using this module you can pull any product from Amazon and post it to your blog – the buy now links are setup with your affiliate ID so you will earn money from any sales referred.
Licensing
The plugin is released under a GPL license meaning you can use it on as many sites as you like and are free to sell those sites or use it on client sites etc.

We have an affiliate program which is getting some great signups, you can earn $52.15 for each sale you refer at the moment which will rise in future. We are also going to be giving away some great prizes in April to the top affiliates – so if you would like to promote the plugin please signup now.
